New Flooring Adhesives – Think “Green”
In our continued quest to offer more and more products that are Eco-conscious, we have decided to add “green” flooring adhesives. Just this morning we issued a press release about it since we do believe very strongly in offering safe and environmentally friendly products. We were very happy to work with Dri-Tac Adhesives to help bring these new adhesives to market. Rubber Flooring, Inc now carries flooring glues for virtually every type of flooring including hardwood, bamboo, cork, vinyl, rubber, underlayments, and more. The new “green” adhesives have no VOC’s or solvents added whatsoever and they only cost $10-20 more per bucket than our normal low cost rubber flooring adhesive product. All spec sheets are available on request and customer service is on call at 800-613-0996 to answer any questions about the new products.
Green Flooring
If you’re in the market for new and innovative ways to “go green” in your home or business, Rubber Flooring Inc may have just what you’re looking for! Our rubber flooring products serve a multitude of uses and yes, they are environmentally friendly. Our recycled rubber is made from recycled truck tire treads, otherwise known as buffings, which are the cleanest and most durable part of the tire. After the buffings are obtained and transported to our various production facilities, the ground rubber is placed in large cylinders with a urethane bonding agent and is compressed, creating a solid log. These logs of compressed rubber are then cut with computerized blades to exacting standards. Finally, they are reduced to specified lengths, rolled and shipped to our customers. The final product is an attractive, high-quality rubber flooring that is every bit as resilient as
the tires on your car, although you may have a hard time travelling on your flooring for 50,000+ miles!
Over time, tires have become a very problematic source of waste due to their durability and the amounts of space that they occupy in landfills. They are also often placed in tire stockpiles which can become a health and safety hazard due to the possibility of tire fires which can burn for long periods of time and create a large amount of pollution. Through our production process, we are able to recycle millions of tires, thus saving them from a fate of crowded landfills and burning stockpiles. With our rubber flooring, you can rest assured that you’re not only purchasing high-quality products. You’re also contributing to saving our planet.
